Sin duda, el consuelo que encontramos en la biblia sin duda nos ayuda a sobrellevar este momento tan doloroso. La biblia nos da la garantía de que: • Nuestros seres queridos que han muerto no están sufriendo. En Eclesiastés 9:5, la Biblia dice que los muertos “no tienen conciencia de nada”. Sus pensamientos se acaban (Salmo 146:4). Por eso, la Biblia compara la muerte al sueño profundo (Juan 11:11). • El consuelo de tener fe en un Dios (Jehová) que nos ama. La Biblia afirma: “Los ojos de Jehová * están hacia los justos, y sus oídos están hacia su clamor por ayuda” (Salmo 34:15). Orar a Dios para expresarle nuestros sentimientos es más que una buena terapia o una manera de organizar nuestros pensamientos. • La promesa de un futuro mejor. La Biblia habla muchas veces del día en el que los muertos volverán a vivir. Por ejemplo, al describir cómo será la vida en la Tierra en el futuro, dice que Dios “limpiará toda lágrima de sus ojos, y la muerte no será más, ni existirá ya más lamento ni clamor ni dolor” (Revelación [Apocalipsis] 21:3, 4). Gracias a la esperanza de volver a ver a sus seres queridos, muchas personas que creen en Jehová, el Dios de la Biblia, tienen más fortaleza para sobrellevar el duelo. Si usted piensa que lo que dice la Biblia es solo un sueño, ¿por qué no analiza las pruebas que demuestran que sus consejos son razonables y sus promesas son posibles?
